Delete your profile and data

In the app
Open Profile and tap "Delete profile" at the bottom of the page. It happens straight away and cannot be undone.
Without the app
Write to us with your username and the language you play in:
We delete the same as the button in the app, normally within 30 days, and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile and the anonymous user ID
- Your usernames, rating and statistics
- Your friends, friend requests and blocks
- Your long games
- The notification token (push)
If you delete in the app, the app on your phone is also cleared and starts fresh.
What is kept, and for how long
- Definitions you have written become anonymous: the link to you is removed, and they may still be used in the game without a name (the bluff bank) until we delete them.
- Rooms, answers, votes and chat in games are deleted automatically after 30 days anyway.
- Reports of objectionable content are kept until they have been handled, and no longer than 12 months.
- Backups of the database are deleted automatically within 7 days.
- Meta controls the data it has already received for ad measurement. You can reset the advertising ID in your phone's settings.
